Competitor Entry Terms & Conditions
1. THE CONTRACTING ENTITY
By entering this event, you are entering into a legally binding contract with NO PREP RACERS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ACN: 673 898 322) trading as No Prep Racers Australia ("the Promoter").
2. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK & LIABILITY EXCLUSION
2.1 You acknowledge that drag racing and "No Prep" track events are inherently dangerous high-risk activities. You participate entirely at your own risk.
2.2 To the maximum extent permitted under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and state civil liability laws, the Promoter, its directors, and employees exclude all liability for personal injury, death, psychological trauma, or damage to your vehicle, tow rig, or equipment, howsoever caused—including through the negligence of the Promoter, the host car club, or track officials.
3. SANCTIONING & LICENSING COMPLIANCE
3.1 This event is promoted by NPRA but is operationally conducted by an affiliated local car club under an official sanctioning permit from either the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) or the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA).
3.2 It is a strict condition of entry that you hold a valid, current racing license and logbook appropriate for your vehicle class as required by the sanctioning body OR you purchase a DAY LICENCE on the day to compete in this event.
3.3 Physical Waiver Required: Online pre-registration does not bypass track safety requirements. You explicitly agree that you must physically sign the official ANDRA or IHRA Indemnity and Release Form at the track scrutineering shed before your vehicle will be permitted into the staging lanes. Failure to sign the trackside waiver will result in immediate forfeiture of your entry without a refund.
4. VEHICLE SAFETY & SCRUTINEERING
You warrant that your vehicle complies fully with both the specific NPRA class rules and the overarching safety/technical regulations of the sanctioning body (ANDRA/IHRA). The Host Club's appointed scrutineers retain final authority to reject any vehicle deemed unsafe.
5. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, runway surface issues, or force majeure cancellations, entry fee refunds or transfers will be determined at the sole discretion of the Promoter, subject to any unrecoverable event setup costs and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
